Mustang Grape

Vitaceae Vitis mustangensis

The mustang grape is a native in many parts of the state.  It has a dark round fruit that gets ripe in early July.  It makes great jelly although you should wear gloves when washing the grapes.  It makes a great addition to a fence or arbor.
