Poaceae Panicum virgatum

Switchgrass is a tall (up to 9 feet) grass which often grows in moist sites.  The blue-green leaves and upright seed heads make a big statement in a moist corner of the garden.  It can also be planted near the water.  Plant in full or part sun.
