Anacacho Orchid Tree
Bauhinia lunarioides (congesta)

A small graceful tree (up to 10 feet) which holds leaves over winter during mild winters.  In the spring, white flowers cover the tree.  If grown in afternoon shade, it is an open graceful tree.  If grown in full sun, it is bushier and fuller.  It is small enough to be included in a large flowerbed. North of Austin it may need south wall protection.
