FLOWERS & GROUND COVERS Bluebells Gentianaceae Eustoma grandiflorum Bluebells have a spectacular large blue-purple flower from June to October. They prefer moist soil and are considered an annual or short-lived perennial. The plant grows from 1 to 2 feet tall and the flowers are almost 3 inches across. The make wonderful cut flowers and therefore are not often seen in the wild in the Hill Country. |
